Program for managing University for Unification Mission

Purpose for managing the University for Unification Mission
The purpose is to research and learn about the Northern areas (North Korea, China, and Mongolia and for Eastern Russia) as areas for missions in a theological and objective perspective and to execute efficient unification missions work.
Schedule
Two sessions a year (One session in Feb, another session in Aug), Mondays at 7-9 pm for two hours
(Location: Chapel in basement of Education Building and chapel in basement of Main building). Monthly meeting for Northern areas missions will be held on the third week of every month with an introduction to mission fieldworks in Northern areas.

Lectures, seminars and field practice in Northern areas

- Opening of University for Unification mission, orientation and graduation service with certification
- Religion in North Korea and Christianity
- Politics and Ideology of North Korea
- Six Party Talks and Peace on the Peninsula
- Economic Reformation and Opening Up of North Korea
- North Korean Society and Culture
- Mission Environment in the Northern areas and Strategy for Unification Ministry
- Practical mission works in the Northern areas for missions in China, Russia and Mongolia

- Pastors and professors of theological seminaries
- Religion in North Korea and Christianity
- People participating in missions work in the Northern areas (including missionaries)
